Bellevue Rovers - one of the longest serving sides in the DDAFL before they folded at the end of the 2005/06 season due to lack of finance. Spending a total of 33 years as league members. The club are one of the best examples of continuing through adversity finishing near the bottom of the second division for most of their history. DDAFL life member Brian Boyce ran the team through thick and thin for at least 20 years, never failing to put a side out despite some resounding defeats. In the latter few years the club had a decent team and featured in several cup finals.

Blackwood Dynamos - were league members for 14 seasons, joining in the late 1970s. The team originally came from Auldgirth and carried a name that been around for many years in the old summer league circles. After several years playing at the small Kennedy Park in Auldgirth the club moved its operations to Dumfries, playing their home games at the College Green in Sandside. The club spent most of their spell in the league in Division 1 but did suffer relegation in their final season. The club then moved to the South of Scotland league and played at the Crichton for several years before changing their name to Crichton FC. As Crichton FC they won the South of Scotland league title in 2007/08 and were rewarded by playing in the Scottish Cup the following season.
