Crichton Royal - members of the league for 17 years - Joined in 1957/58. The Crichton Royal were in their day one of the oldest Amateur teams in Britain and could trace their history back to 1862 and they were formally recognised in 1872 and played in various leagues over their long existence. interestingly they used to play an annual match against Queens Park of Glasgow. Unfortunately for the club they had their best years when the might Lincluden Swifts were at the top of their game.
